DAY 1 - BALI
Check-in on board Manta Mae in Bali Serangan/Benoa Harbour Bali. After the boat and safety briefing, we’ll set up equipment and enjoy the boat.
Dinner will be served around 19:00 hours with the sunset and we will spend an overnight journey to Moyo Island, north-west Sumbawa.
DAY 2 - MOYO ISLAND
We arrive early at Pulau Moyo which is a wildlife and marine reserve. We will make a landfall visit. En-route, we will stop at one of several fine snorkelling sites along its west coast and go ashore at the village of Labuan Haji.
In the late afternoon, we hoist the anchor and begin cruising to Satonda Island.
DAY 3 - SATONDA ISLAND
We arrive at the uninhabited island of Satonda which is separated by a narrow strait from the Tambora Volcano on the Sumbawa mainland, the site of the largest eruption in recorded history.
Going ashore we discover that Satonda its self is a small volcano as well and that it has a salty lake at its crater. On this peaceful island, there will be free time for swimming and snorkeling or diving.
In the afternoon we set sail to Wera.
DAY 4 - WERA
Wera is located at the northeast coast of Sumbawa Island, the south side of active volcano Sangeang. About 1.500 people live in this area. Most of them are farmers at the dry land of Sangeang and they are famous as wooden boat builders, we can also visit the school. (if it’s not school holiday). The black volcanic sand makes for some very colourful snorkelling and diving in this area.
We will also visit a very special site where you can snorkel at the hydrothermal vents of the active volcano.
DAY 5 - KOMODO NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, we will go ashore where a park ranger will escort us across the island for about an hour trek (approximately 4.5 km there and back) to help us locate and photograph the one and only Komodo Dragon (Varanus Comodensis) that lives only on Komodo Island, Rinca.
After walking around to find the species left unchanged since the dinosaurs, we will spend the remainder of the day snorkeling and relaxing on the beautiful “Pink Beach” of Komodo with its amazing marine gardens where you can meet even turtles.
In the late afternoon we hoist the anchor and proceed to Sabolan.
DAY 6 - SABOLAN - LABUAN BAJO
The last stop at Sabolan, offers great dives/snorkeling close to Labuan Bajo. The seamount offers clear water, schools of surgeon fish, large see fans, and stunning coral life in the shallows. Look out for devil scorpion fish, pygmy seahorse, orangutan crabs and frog fish.
After you will be transferred to the airport or your hotel
